This drawing is from a photo of Dawson Falls in Canada, taken by my friend Linda on her trip there in 2009.
I'd just picked a nice big pumpkin from my garden and put it on the front porch between one of my cactus plants and a recently picked pineapple.
Made these two pictures for a couple of little'uns on a day being mother's helper.
Some tips on printing colouring in images:
- Different types of pens, markers and gels will react differently on different papers.
- Some inks will feather and bleed. Test the type of paper you plan to use for bleed through before printing.
- Ordinary copy paper is fine for standard colouring-in pencils.
- Alcohol based markers and pens will destroy the image lines if printed on an ink-jet printer but should work fine on laser prints.
- Use heavier paper, such as Bristol Board, if you plan to frame the finished image.
